The Navegador
Our Restaurant is called "The Navegador" and can be found at the top of the headland. We serve serve a variety of traditional Portuguese dishes (plus a fair few International options for those not feeling too adventurous) and we use fresh local products.
Typical main courses use locally caught fish/shellfish or locally farmed pork or beef (Miguel is a keep diver and has caught many of the fish that we have eaten out there). Our cooking styles include Algarvian, Madeiran and our own "Navegadorian", we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
Portugal has a number of traditional vegetarian dishes, but restaurants generally tend not to put them on the menu (not sure why). If you ask Miguel or Zezinha what Vegetarian options they have at the moment, they will be happy to help - there's normally something. There is a fantastic bean based sauce they serve with rice - it is wonderful!
On warm evenings (pretty much May to October) we open up the terrace and offer stunning Alfresco dining, on cooler nights guests can enjoy the cosy atmosphere inside. No matter what the weather, guests can enjoy the far reaching views and some good home cooked food.
Our kitchen is open everyday, except for Sundays when we are closed for dinner, lunchtime snacks are available from our Pool Bar daily.
